Ren Fest

Today, Paul, Brittany, Gretchen and myself went to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Had a blast. Gretchen and I went earlier and experienced the rain AND shine... Paul and Brittany just experienced the Shine. Pretty much all day, it was cold and cloudy, but at one point it was pretty sunny and somewhat nice.

Paul and brittany rode an elephant and did a bit of archery while gretchen and I watched and took pictures. We all had a great time. Drank some mead, ate some pretty awesome food, including a chicken wild rice soup in a bread bowl and stuffed breadsticks... also onion rings, ice cream, caramel apples, and more mead. It was awesome... except for the fact that they were out of strawberry mead. I guess they ran out of strawberry mead on Labor day weekend. Kinda shitty.

But aside from that, jousting, knife throwing, fire breathing... all awesome. Funny stuff all day. We all had a great time.
