So I saw Alice in Wonderland. It was pretty good but not quite what I was hoping for. I wanted more Willie Wonka meets Nightmare before christmas, but what I got was those two meets Sweeny Tod and Sleepy Hallow. All of those movies I liked, by the way, for their own reasons. Alice in Wonderland was just a little over the top in a few places. It was kind of like watching Sleepy Hallow and then they throw in a joke that didn't really fit.
I saw that the paper gave it two out of four stars, and I'm not surprised.
I saw it at midnight by myself... well... with a completely full theater... But I am going to see it again tonight with Gretchen, Paul and Britany.
Hopefully it's better a second time.
